Office Orientation

Getting Started

Before braces are placed, patients should visit a dentist for an exam and have any necessary dental work. Patients can then schedule a consultation with Dr. Martin to discuss the need for braces and possible orthodontic treatments completed.

Convenient Appointments

Your orthodontic appointments with Dr. Martin are scheduled to fit your busy lifestyle. Our staff makes every effort to accommodate each patient's schedule. In order to help us continue to schedule efficiently, 24 hour notice is requested to cancel an appointment.

Before each orthodontic appointment patients are encouraged to brush their teeth. Toothbrushes are provided in the office for your convenience.

Treatment Time

Treatment may last from 18 to 36 months, though this will vary depending on your individual case. The average orthodontic patient is in treatment 28 months. Appointments are typically scheduled from 6 to 8 weeks intervals. Your cooperation in keeping scheduled orthodontic appointments, maintaining proper oral hygiene and taking care of your braces may allow you to finish your orthodontic treatment in a timely manner or within the estimated time.
